Former USATC S160 no. 5197 is now ready for full service following completion of remedial repairs. She was publicly relaunched into service at our hugely popular Winter Steam Gala and is expected to haul all of the Churnet Valley's services over the Easter period.
Her first trains will be during the Easter Family Fun day on April 12th, where Kids For A Quid is on offer to all accompanied children wishing to ride on one of our services. She will then operate over the four days of the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, after which she will return to action for the second Easter Family Fun day on April 19th before finally completing the holiday services over the weekend of April 22/23 when she will be hauling our St George's Day Cream Tea.
