Good news! It has been agreed to extend the operating area of the Moorlands Connect responsive bus service with effect from next Monday. Because the area covered is so large already there will be some journey limitations.
Moorlands Connect will now cover:
- Alton, Oakamoor and Greendale for journeys into and out of Cheadle,
- Denstone to connect with the Swift service to Uttoxeter or Ashbourne
- Cauldon Lowe to link with the Aimees service to Leek.
Moorlands Connect will monitor the journeys and demand going forward, however this does offer a transport option for the villages to link to local areas and services.
To book your journey Mon-Sat 07:00 to 18:00 call: 01335 342951. The telephone booking line is open between 8am to 5pm on Monday to Friday. Calls are charged at normal rates.
