Uttoxeter Canal volunteer work party

The next Uttoxeter Canal work party will be working in the vicinity of Carrington’s Lock. No parking is available on site so please meet at Carrington’s Lock at 10am having made your own way on foot. The site is just over 1 mile along the old railway track from either Denstone or Alton. Take the footpath to Bridge 70 which leaves the railway track by the canal milepost, and continue along the track towards the old pumping station. The OS grid reference is SK 093 424.
