Staffordshire Wildlife Trust is inviting people to get on their bike and sign up to this year’s eagerly awaited Ride the Roaches cycling sportive this September – and help support its conservation work across the county in the process. It takes place on Sunday 8th September.
People can now take advantage of early-bird sign up prices through British Cycling to take part in the Trust's annual fundraising cycling sportive which is due to be held on Sunday 8th September.
Money raised from the Ride the Roaches event goes towards the Trust’s conservation work, including looking after wildlife and wild places in the county.
This year is a special one for the charity – who are celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2019.
The Ride the Roaches event runs from the Trust’s Wolseley Centre headquarters, near Rugeley and there will be three distances for people to take part in, a ‘Mammoth’ 90-mile route, a ‘Midi’ 60-mile route and a ‘Mini’ 30-mile route.
