This years show is on Saturday 31st August which is also the first day of the Scarecrow Festival so it will be a busy weekend in and around the village and we hope to see as many people as we can at the show. This year is the 77th consecutive show and we want to see it continue. There will be a great raffle, a chance to view the entries, refreshments and of course the sale of prize-winning entries all of which ensure the show continues. This year will see our new display tables in use for the first time following support from Councillor Mike Worthington.
We have amended some of the categories, there are some really interesting choices for the children. This year’s photography challenge is ‘Farmyard Animals’ and don’t forget there is a honey section so do let your beekeeping friends know they can enter.
If you were a winner last year please do get your trophies back to a committee member or call Martyn Hordern on 01538 750657.
