Today Staffordshire Wildlife's Nick Mott made a return visit to a Churnet Valley Living Landscape Partnership project that was initiated in 2016 during the programme funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund. Nick and the Churnet Valley Farmers group (an Environment Agency funded initiative) visited a large, intensive dairy farm where reed beds were established to manage surplus farm run-off. The ponds are working well and the Churnet Valley Farmers will be highlighting this success story to other dairy farmers in the region.
