Historically, Oakamoor Village Hall was originally the Mill School, from 1876 to 1932 when the school moved up the hill to The Valley School. The Hall is a period building which has had an interesting history and for a number of years was attached to the local Wesleyan Chapel, now long gone - but if you look in
the car park wall you will still see the foundation stone.
